Welcome to the site of Mark Phillips, the WoodPenGuy, and Overcomer Now Ministries.

Overcomer Now began in 2004.  Rev. Mark Phillips found that he could join his love of wood turning with his passion for prayer when he prayed for others while he crafted exotic wood gifts.  Now, whether at an arts and crafts show, or at a support group for brain injury survivors in Amarillo, or assisting  at Mountain High Camp in Red River, New Mexico,  Mark thrives on God-given opportunities to prayerfully encourage persons through personal  tragedy and setback.

Mark and his wife Debbie are regularly asked to testify to the power of prayer through their testimony of Mark's near-death motorcycle accident  and 
recovery from stage four colon cancer as well as other personal examples from family and friends.  Mark loves being with people and especially pointing others to his prayer-answering, miracle-working God.
